That's literally the creator's own description. If you want a game where you can reskin the monster caves from Keep on the Borderlands as pirate tunnels on an asteroid, you want SWN. That's... also Mongoose. Seriously, they're the two most compatible versions of Traveller. The only trap option in Mongoose is using the full range of armor and weapons from all tech levels, it helps to keep battle dress and combat armor out of the game at first.
