So /exg/, I've fucked up. I've accidentally made an Eclipse Oath with a Moonshadow Abyssal (whom I didn't know was an abyssal at the time) who activated her own oath, and the terms are not in my circle's favor. It's a long story, but the short version is basically that we were traveling with an abyssal whom we thought was human, who comes from Sijan. We were on the run from Wyld Hunt and needed a route to take to get to safety, and the one route that wouldn't potentially lead us to the Wyld Hunt and/or take us to Nexus where some of the circle have really bad memories was one that would go through the Walker's shadowlands. We asked the abyssal because she was from Sijan and we thought "Hey, maybe she knows how we could negotiate for safe passage through the shadowlands", and she mentioned that she actually has a job that requires her to go there (we knew she was working with the Deathlords, but thought it was against her will at the time), so she could probably secure us safe passage. However, we'd have to be her bodyguards to get safe passage too, and she suggested the Walker might not accept just a verbal agreement, so she suggested making an Oath to solidify it. I'm the Eclipse, so I was going to just keep it simple, "We'll be your bodyguards in the shadowlands until you get the artifact and take it back to Sijan where it can be locked up." But then the Twilight, who was sleeping with the abyssal and knew certain parts of the circle (not me, but others) didn't really like or trust Pathways, pitched in as well, and I was stupid and didn't vet the Oath as well as I should have.
For the record, before I actually post the oath itself, this artifact is actually a piece of an artifact, which was a part of some great weapon that allegedly would give it's wielder the power to conquer the East. Needless to say, not something we want Deathlords to get their hands on, even if it's just a shard.
