I know a tome and codex is similar in that they have unique faction lore, unique allegiance abilities, unique spells (where applicable), warscrolls for all their units, battalions and all that jazz.
I'm more curious if you could tell me how a 40k Codex actually differ from a battletome in any meaningful way.
