I agree the fact that some assholes in Black Library are trying to force people to conform to their idea of what 40k is. They are not letting the setting be vague and open to interpretation so that everyone can enjoy the setting in their own way while sticking to the core fluff. >Uh, emperor was actually this and this, actually this primarch thinks this way about this issue
This is bad writing for this setting.
But in some cases the writing can be very methodical and presented in a very detailed manner. For example the Siege of Vraks series. That works because the action is largely limited to a specific place and it does not have galaxy wide ramifications. Which is the problem with the current GW shit tier writing. They have to use big hero names and absolutely galactic scale ramifications to push their abortions of fluff. for 10 thousand years Imperium was declining, than suddenly there is a gigantic warp rift tearing it in half. What the actual fuck.
Focusing on capeshit was a big mistake. 40k is a setting, not a story. 40k is where stories take place it is not a story that has an advancing plot. Retards did not get this fact and asked for the setting to advance . Look where that brought us now.
I dont agree that setting ''should not be taken seriously'' If i did not take it seriously i would not be spending thousands upon thousands of dollars on plastic miniatures that i have to build, paint and waste a huge amount of my time just to play an absolutely mediocre game.
There are many turn based computer games and if you get bored with them there are lots of boardgame cafes that you can go with your friends and have fun for very little amount of money.
Those who say>Ah, you take this game seriously pff what a nerd
Are contrarian retards who cant be bothered to sit the fuck down and read some decent lore pieces . Because they are lazy fucks who cant be bothered to actually do that and hide their laziness by trying to look cool.
