When transmute rock to mud is dispelled, all the mud goes back to where it was before, right?

No. Think about it. If you transmute a rock ceiling to mud it falls (as described in the spell). If you DISPELLED the spell, the magic ends. Why would the mud MAGICALLY defy gravity to go back where it was if the spell ENDED.

That is in no way what tieflings were in 2e. They were clearly marked by their heritage, it’s just that that mark was ugly. Like they’d have backwards goat legs and curdle milk, or they’d have horns and empty black eyes

Somewhere along the way they got combined with the alu-fiend

I have an issue with that. I consider myself the only spell caster in the group. The AT forgets he even has BB and the paladin smites. It feels like it has fallen onto me to be the spell caster of the group, be the specialist on all magic, and I've been building like that. Detect magic, identify, teleportation circle, sending....

Nah, dragonborn were released during 3rd/3.5. Back then they were just followers of Bahamut who used an ancient ritual to turn themselves into dragon soldiers to fight against the dragonspawn of Tiamat.

Yeah Bard Senpai, I got you, and you can totally bear that load, but you're not the Druid, who melds the Wizard and the Cleric's job, you're not the Wizard, and you're not the Cleric.
You gotta do you. If you can get scrolls, well look at that, AT can use any wizard scroll anyway, and you can lend them inspiration so they make that roll better

My DM is letting me lean into the crafting part of the Artificer and told me to let him know what items I want to craft so that he can give me the opportunity to get materials, etc.

So what common and uncommon magic items that I can’t already get with infusions should I go after?

Thanks, magic bro. He started buying scrolls to do things, and he asks for dices when ever he wants to use a scroll. So far I've only seen him use a scroll of haste on the barbarian, but i hope he does more. We're a pretty disjointed group that tries to one up eachother constantly.

My next character is an Alchemist Artificer Diabetic, who developed his skills to survive thanks to his need for self reliance
But I'm struggling on picking a race and infusions.
I'm leaning towards the following
>Homunculus electronic insulin measurer and pump
>Alchemy Jug for more alchemy
>Goggles of Night to help make up deteriorating eyesight
>Resistant Armor (Poison) to help manage poisonous intakes
>Bag of Holding because I'm running out of thematic infusions and magic items
>Some sort of atunable boots reskinned as a prosthetic foot?

If Bahamut had an avatar for 5e, like Tiamat in RoT, would they be equal in power or Bahamut's avatar would be stronger than Tiamat?

Since artificer no longer has extra attack, and you have absurd easy of crafting poisons with all the alchemy swag you're packing, you should consider an enhanced weapon Blowgun or Crossbow that delivers your poisonous payloads

I'd change it to one melee spell attack for 1d6 + WIS. Scaling to 2d6, then 3d6, then 4d6. Club or quarterstaff is a material component.

No 1 minute duration or bonus action requirements. Pretty comparable to primal savagery.
