For people in the US, what did you do with your physics undergrad degree after graduating?

It seems like a rather useless degree unless you plan on going to grad school. I know a lot of physics majors and most of them are underemployed working shit jobs like being a coffee barista. I know one guy working at a financial firm and one guy who is a computer programmer, but they only got those jobs because of close connections.

Even biology and chemistry majors are able to snag jobs as lab technicians doing work that's actually related to what they studied.
