I am a 25 year old high school drop out and I am trying to learn math, but I keep hearing math teachers, instructors, graduates ect in my mind criticizing me and acting like I am to dumb to learn it, just because I don't understand it the first time I hear it. It is impeding my progress, but not stopping it, but it is severely bothering me. Why are these assholes so cruel and jealous? Is math really a source of their self-esteem? Am I shattering their petty egos by learning it?
