The explosion for the oklahoma bombing was done with a 2200kg mixture of ammonium nitrate, diesel and nitromethane. I remember reading/hearing somewhere that the material didn't combust completely, so there was room for even more energy to be released.
Is there any way to calculate how much energy WAS released? I'm interested in knowing how much more powerful the explosion could have been, given the size of the bomb
