Just take the core calc, diff. eq, and linear algebra courses. Then read: Griffiths, Introduction to quantum mechanics; Griffiths, Introduction to Electrodynamics, and Hartle, Gravity: An Introduction to Einstein's General Relativity.

If you're more keen on the linear algebra side of quantum then use Townsend. It's better than Griffiths imo

Oh yeah. I forgot. After reading griffiths, try reading through Jackson, Electrodynamics and Shankar, Principles of Quantum Mechanics.

Shankar is alright, but Jackson is more of a hazing ritual than a textbook. There has got to be a better E&M book out there.

No. Don't read Griffiths at all. Shankar is perfectly fine as your first QM book. Sakurai only if you're confident in your math (which you should be anyway).
I still think Dirac is the best intro, followed by >>10569708

Well, if you want to go as far as GR, differential geometry. Tensors will tear up your boipussy. SR and QM don't require so much math. Calc II + Complex Analysis and you should be fine.

i'm not OP but i just remembered the first time i saw Griffiths quantum mechanics book at 10th grade and thought i couldn't learn it because it's toot advanced

now i'm finished a calc 2 course at uni, and i'm studying complex analysis by myself. i can't believe ill finally understand some QM

It's true. Differential geometry is the mathematical language of general relativity, but any math textbook in differential geometry would be overkill for anyone trying to learn general relativity. What OP needs is an introductory book of General Relativity, Hartle will do fine. This will teach just the right amount of math to understand general relativity,
