>>10398474The first two semesters I took things on easy mode, after... well, High School is a looooong story, and it needs an in-depth explaination of the educational system here. To tell the long story short, I got fucked over for years and years, my mother made me retake the exams because she had a hard-on for medicine, I did a bit at another Uni, so when I arrived at my current one, I took things slower. Started watching shows, stopped going to class, since the majority were stuff I had heard before, and people I knew convinced me to leave the new stuff (linear algebra and the like) for the summer. What my autistic ass didn't realize, was that by never going to class, I won't meet people or take notes. So I got stuck with 1k page books. Easter comes (2n Semester) and my old Physics teacher borrows my Physics textbook, and doesn't return it for a month (he went to the mountains). So I tank my Physics II Exam, and spend the summer studying for that. I pass it, but then things started going to shit.
I got my books stolen while travelling back home. My mom threw a Christmas Party, I got sick, she rushed me to the Hospital, they thought it was meningitis, they punctured my spinal cord and I couldn't move for a month or so. Then I got my yearly ear infection, and next Christmas my dad got surgery done so I stayed back home to help around. Meanwhile I started eating a lot. So a whole academic year and a half, up to this point, got pretty much tanked. I only passed the mandatory Physics Labs (and one of them only because I am good at persuading people to sympathize with me, and got a 5/10, when in reality I should've gotten a 2/10 or so).
Really, I fucked up, with the "help" of a bunch of misfortunes. Plus, I had my monthly 7-hour trips to my hometown to get my braces fixed (for the 2nd time). When Uni started, I had 3 missing front teeth (pulled out), one broken, and braces. People talked to me and turned away when I responded, so I was too embarassed to go there.
