How much thrust do typical (say 14' ish?) airboats produce?
Or what's necessary to push a hull of that size to certain speeds?
I tried joogling it but the forums for airboats are a pain in the ass to navigate on a phone, and noone really seems to actually talk about thrust values, except a few cases that never mentioned the boat or engine.

I saw a post that said a 13HP combustion engine is fine for a boat, and another one that had a 300HP engine producing 800+ pounds of thrust, which I assume is very uncommon, since my car barely makes makes 200HP
