Can this prove definitively that there is such thing as quantum entanglement?

A little thought experiment, let me list it off

>we have two scientists, one on the moon and one on earth
>both have running stop watches and an entangled particle with a state of 1 in an isolated container
>a sensor is inside both containers and can detect the state of the particles
>the earthen scientist flips the particles state to 0, at say 4 seconds, which should affect the other particle to be 0 on the lunar surface
>the sensor detects the change and stops the stopwatch
> if the universal speed limit is indeed the speed of light, the stopwatches would have have a lag time of ~1.2 seconds so it would come out as ~5.2 seconds on the lunar surface
>if not, it should be 4 seconds on both watches
