I don't know if that's even possible... They say you age because the portective stuff on your DNA is always divide by two every time one of you cells split and when you have none left there start to be mistakes in your DNA which causes death to you... But maybe if you turned all of your cell s Info cancer cells at once you could live forever....

That's quitter talk. Just get something that can add the protective stuff back every so often. IE every 50 years you go in a get treatments. Could also use Gene editing to fix any mutations you've gotten in the time. It's going to be a long time away but seems perfectly possible considering there are organisms that live very long unless killed by something else

From what I understand the only reason we age is because some cells can't reproduce forever, but some can (like skins cells?) and that is because we've evolved them(skin cells) to do so( otherwise we will just die from cancer very often ). So we have to do what nature has done for a long long time for other cells.
I might be talking bullshit so please correct me if so.

lack of cells is one of the factors of aging but there are more. this one will probably be solved by stemcells. for example some cells get old and useless so we have to get rid of them. there are drugs designed to flush out these shitty cells called senolytics. they're testing them on humans right now. there are some other factors, all of them byproduct of physics involved in metabolism, not in our biology, all of these factors are already discovered so the only thing we have to do is repair them to retain our youth

Because I don't want to live to see the hell that people turn this planet into. The brain is limited so after enough time, I'd be feeling it. And I don't want to be stuck as I watch populations genetically progress. Making me a big, grotesque, retard by their developing standards. I'd just be a drain on the dwindling resources anyway.

Point is that nobody has had their life extended by it. It has had no practical results, which means less publicity, which means people won't invest in some sci fi technology. I guarantee if someone used it to survive 6 months for an organ transplant bookings would shoot through the roof overnight, because then it would have been proven in practice. If they invented youth pills that demonstrated drastic effects everyone would jump on the bandwagon, because the good of aging is just cope and not something with actual staying power in the face of possibility.

There's a company called Elysium Health that's developed a drug called Basis that's supposed to boost the levels of NAD+, which, among other things, is used for repairing your DNA after it's divided. It doesn't cure or reverse aging, but it does have the potential to slow it down.

It's cleared clinical trials, and you can buy a 6-month supply from their site.
