>>10988445Bre you are basically advocating that people should stay objectively bad, and just "like try harder Bre" well I try real hard, and every day I encounter apathetic people that wouldn't even blink if I was shot in front of them. The kinds of people that are rude, even on a good day, lazy, ignorant, entitled and most importantly overflowing with hatred for those that are mildly different from them.
My point is, we literally invented religion to "just try to be better" and so far the only reason we are still around is because we weren't good enough in the past to kill eachother efficiently.
Now we have nukes and are literally on the verge of Armageddon every day. People don think the nukes will ever be used again but it's happened twice already. Bre our only hope is to do something DIFFERENT, maybe humans 2.0 can be made smart AND moral, seriously why does everyone assume that intelligence = evil.
You ever been robbed? I have, it wasn't an intellectual that robbed me. Yes smart people have the capacity for evil but dumb people are often times evil without even knowing that they are.
