Also, since homosexuality is maladaptive (even in the case of an evolutionary explanation, for it massively cucks the afflicted patient's fitness) and since anal sex in particular is objectively harmful and unnecessary, gay men should (whether wishing to avoid HIV or otherwise in the general case) simply do the one thing that they are physically incapable of doing, because they are MEN, unbound by female sexual restraint or (in the west) an absolute taboo about their sexual activity: totally abstain from sexual release with other men. But of course that will never happen.
For the gay men, as for the straight men, one way or another: "My Fuck Will Out." This can happen in the healthy way (intercourse with women), in unhealthy ways (gay sex), in abusive ways (Catholic sexual abuse), or else sublimate itself into the perpetration of a mass shooting.
