>>4216165I wasn't talking about ambition and humbleness difference but the thought that he has more ambition
because he's humble who draws for fun than for someone who draws for ego.
He think his art is more meaningful than the guy who draws for his own ego.
Just because someone is egoistic doesn't mean he has less ambitions than the humble one.
>Ego>The desire for respect from other artists>The act of drawing in itself is enjoyable when I'm applying knowledge that I've learned. It gives me a sense of pride.>Visualizing a composition and the desire to execute it fully>The belief that I can do it as long as I have the patience>Belief that comes from knowledge. Resolve that comes from belief. Patience that comes from resolve. He has ambitions better than:
>I got into drawing just because i like the process of it.I do a thousand times before id do it a thousand times more. I dont seek validation nor is it ego driven.
This is the most common ambition of a newbie artist.
I don't believe in humbleness.
It's a good tool to hide intent from the "nice" mob, but taken seriously as some kind of moral virtue. I don't believe it.
They think to themselves "I'm a humble man, I'm nicer than people with bad intent. I feel pleasure in my heart. I'm better than him".
I believe humble people are liars. They're not being true to themselves.
The humbleness is a facade so they could feel good and feel virtue at the same time.
This is hard to understand for people who still believe in Christian fundamental values
and people who care more about the intent than the consequence.
