Yep. Thats how it is. Practice make perfect, yes, but, when you start from a young age, your body start to adapt to what you are learning, similar to when you learn a language.
When you learn to speak a language from a young age, your mouth, your tongue and you lips adapt start to adapt to be able to let out a specific sound and tone.
When you learn to draw, the same goes for your eyes. You start seeing the world around you in simple shape, and you start noticing the detail.
Of course, its never too late to learn, but you will find it more difficult to adjust your body to be able to rival an artist who started from a young age.
