I'm lucky enough to have inherited money and have tons of free time, so I can do art all day long and eventually be good enough to do commissions for pocket change. And that's about the extent of what the rest of you can realistically expect. Art is a fucking luxury of luxuries, no one needs it and way more people make it than buy it.
