>>3534527Not really, but I can share my process for painting clouds. I use Photoshop.
- I lay down some colors for the background (three or more shades of blue, or other colors depending on the situation) and blend them until I have a nice and smooth gradient
- I pick a light blue and a slightly greyish, darker one and sketch the shapes with a hard round brush, very quickly and roughly
- then I switch to the mixer brush and start to blend the colors. I tend to mix some of the background color as well. My settings are 60-65% wet, 30% mix and 30% load, sample all layers. Flow starting at 20%, but it may vary.
- I focus on edges with very light circular strokes to improve the roundness and softness of the clouds. Around edges I usually lower the mixer brush flow.
- With the hard round brush I add some white here and there where highlights are needed (not 100% white, more like a very very light blue, almost white. Pure white would look kinda yellow).
- then I blend it with the rest
- I keep blending and refining more and more
- I add another layer of clouds and keep going, until it looks good to me (or until I overdone it and looks like shit, lol)
I hope this is somehow useful.
