>>3250940oh i was done. i just came in to say that Picasso was a commie. i wasn't trying to create a debate.
>>3250938i will concede that the ideas behind it may not be evil which i guess is too strong of a word.i'm aware of how it sounds to the idealistic.
i supported it at one point which i often forget. more specifically i'm speaking of communist systems all together.
at the very least its Utopian and mismanagement is disastrous.
at worst its a totalitarian nightmare.
have you ever studied the prison systems under communism? do you know what the "bitch wars" were ? do you know the operating procedures that go on inside one? do you know what a cell press is?
have ever read the book by danzig baldaev (who was a soviet prison guard who later studied prisoner culture for the kgb) about the gulag (which was a system started by Lenin based on the tsars katorga prisons) ?
a large part of the soviet population has been in prison for one reason or another (and yes i know that the american prison system is now higher than that but its not even close to a Russian prison or gulag conditions if you would like to see the average soviet prison conditions i'm talking about watch a documentary called mark of cain about the vor v zakone that was made during and is filmed in the soviet union.)
what are your opinions on the NKVD.
what about the holodomor under the soviets
what about all the other failed communist states? what about Cambodia, what about Mao and his cultural revolutions. what about juche and the DPRK( and i'm aware that that is more like feudalism but they still call themselves communists). what about the current state of Venezuela.
there is a track record of these states either failing or having totalitarian enforcement and mismanagement with horrific results.
you guys arent gonna change my mind on this and i know i'm not going to change yours. like i said i didn't come here to debate but since you responded i figured i would answer.
