Anyway OP, Vilppu is a good choice. The main thing is to study the skull and the the major bony forms of the head like the forehead protrusion, cheek bones, brow ridge, etc. Loomis is good, but I feel his construction method is a little too rigid. This is a matter of personal opinion of course. Anyway I've tried a bunch, Vilppu's lessons worked best as much as I try to stray from the principles I end up wasting time and going back because it works for me.
