It’s not the far future at all. Tons of stuff already look neat-perfect in CGI. Cars, fabrics, buildings, etc - even lots of animals. There’s far more CGI than most people realize.

I never got this kind of mentality that CG was the only visual effects movie goers can't get past.
I mean these are sci-fi action fans. We've looked past puppets on strings and guys in suits. We've looked past breakway brick walls and cars exploding for very little reason. We've looked past what is often clearly a stunt man in a more durable version of the costume being set on fire.

But the idea this impossible visual stunt is being done with Computer Graphics makes it just so hard to be looked past.
Even if it is super noticeable, so are most visual effects.
