>>98676958>I don't know why you don't think teaching a bunch of people lightning bending would be dangerous. When you've already got a nation full of people who can bend fire, having a few people who can bend lightning is nothing.
>Iroh thought B2 Zuko was ready to learn it and the only reason he couldn't is because of his personal hangups. And Zuko isn't a prodigy. That's a good point. Alright, I can concede that more lightning benders in Korra's time makes enough sense. Still, I would prefer it if only a very select few could master it. Same for metalbending. When everyone can do it, it loses the cool factor.
>No matter how much airbending you do, it's literally impossible for something bigger than an elephant to glide. Especially without any wings. All Appa is doing is lazily moving his tail. Zaheer follows the same mechanics.Aeroplanes can glide. I mean, they're more aerodynamic than Appa is, but still. You could argue that Appa's design shouldn't allow him to use airbending to fly so easily, and you'd have a point, but he's still using airbending to do it. Zaheer can float without any effort or bending any air around him. They're flying using completely different techniques.
>>98677033>Chakra points are both physical and spiritual AnonI get that, but the blockage that Korra had was a physical one, supposedly. When Aang had his chakra paths cut off from Azula's lightning, it was fixed when that rock hit his back in the finale. That made at least a bit of sense, because it was a physical solution to a physical problem. The cause and effect in LoK is confusing as heck.
Same with this
>>98677043And how Korra turned into a kaiju. Season 2 was full of this magic bullshit that came out of nowhere and barely made any sense.
