If you look at old blog posts of hers (mid to late 2000's), she actually seemed pretty normal, not really a Tumblr-tier virtue signaler. Post-CalArts and post-Gravity Falls, she took a hard turn to the left and became this outspoken internet lefty. Probably hanging around Hirsch, Terrace and Emmy Cicirega didn't help.
Honestly, though, she's super talented and I want to believe she's actually a good person overall. She hasn't been one to do a public "dragging" so I assume she's probably more of the bandwagoner type than being an active internet troll like Emmy Cicirega.
