And I love it!

This was a pretty awesome mini-series. IT was weird, it was hilarious, and it was tragic. We’ve seen the toon worlds before, but the horrors of a world becoming one was never explored before (AFAIK), so this was a real treat. I hope they make a sequel or someone makes a similar concept in the future.

This is honest to God one of the best things I've read all decade.
I loved every delightfully insane moment of it. It surpassed all my expectations.
Dastardly and Muttley were two of my favorite characters growing up and I loved what this series did to them.
I couldn't praise it enough.

Better yet, every time it happens, does another old cartoon suddenly exist in the universe, with no one being any wiser to its sudden existence and just thinking it's been there the whole time? i.e. Wacky Races/Flying Machines clearly didn't exist in their universe prior to the events of the comic, or else SOMEONE would have made a comment on a pair of pilots nicknamed Dick and Mutt. zilly's original design doesn't match the new silhouette at all, what with the long coat and sleeves and such while the one we see in the comic is still very, very obviously female, and the original doesn't exactly translate well without some heavy changes

Endings like this always leave me conflicted.
I wind up liking the characters and wanting them to get some kind of happy ending.
When they wind up doomed for eternity like this though, I just want to hate it, but I still have to admit that the story was quality regardless of what I wanted.

Near the end they figured out that the Unstabilium was causing their world to merge with a Toon world, and when they collided with War Pig One they got sucked into that Toon world, completing their transformation into toons and trapping them in the Catch the Pigeon cartoon.
