This is what I intend, I'm known for drawing really inconsitently so I'm trying the animator approach to construction in order to stay a little better on model.

its just naive, the guy with more time is obviously going to make a better product, but time is money that your boss has to pay you and you better believe they'll get someone else to do your job if you dont deliver within required parameters.

The point is you should expect higher standards from people who do it for a living and given these are professionals with more years of experience with better tools and resources, they should by all rights be able to put out better work in a shorter amount of time

The thing is you're still a faggot if you act like its somehow impressive that an amateur, a hobbyist at best, can deliver better than a professional when if anything, its ALWAYS in the amateur's ring to deliver better content. Ignoring stuff like movies where they do have some more time to make stuff look good.

Also most people working on tv these days aren't veterans at all, everyone's hiring freelancers right out of college because they're cheaper. You're ill informed to think that you should expect better from essentially a new generation of novices that frankly probably dont have any more experiencing animating than some dude that made his first short film, because they've been stuck making tv stuff on a budget for the last three years, tops.

Also that none of them actually do animation work, all of them get into storyboarding and generally have no say on wether their baby is gonna get manhandled by some animator that doesnt know how to ease in/out.

It's storyboard focused animation, so already its destined to become pretty loose, and Rebecca wants everyone on the crew's personal style to show which clearly varies a lot. So then they send it over to korea where they animate everything exactly how it appears on the board questioning why the show never sticks to a strict model.
