The above is essentially what the Nazis believed and they perceived the jews to be an existential threat to the continuation of the german people. I am not commenting on if they were right or wrong in that assessment about the jews, but their rationale for their actions was completely sane. Also, keep in mind that jews were massively over-represented in politics, media and especially financial industry in Weimar Germany, in which the actual ethnic Germans were suffering under massive powerty and social decay. From their point of view, the Jews were exploiting the German people and feeding off from their suffering while at the other hand, also pushing for communist revolution (picture related). The hatred towards the jews didn't stem from nowhere and the sooner we fucking accept that what the jews were doing in Weimar had a part in causing the reaction against them, we can actually discuss the matter rationally.
And sure, not every fucking jew was guilty of shit like this, but humans are tribal animals, and when you are perceived to be an outgroup, and members of your outgroup do shit against the ingroup of other people, you unfortunately also get part of the blame.
