It's that time of year again. Time to share holiday comics, cartoons, comradery, traditions, and spread some cheer to your fellow anons.
As previous years share your Amazon wishlist and some random Anon may purchase a holiday gift for you. I'll have two of these pastebins going, one filled with the ungifted wishlist codes and another with all wishlists that have been posted this year.
To get your wishlist code open you wishlists on Amazon, then click on the name on the left side of the page it will update the URL at the top after /wishlist/. If you are using one of the international versions of Amazon please let us know when you post your list.
Amazon will automatically donate a small portion of your purchase amount to the charity of your choice if you simply type "
smile.amazon.com " rather than using the usual "www". Doing this is just one more way to spread the love this holiday season (and the rest of the year too, if you so choose).
If you frequent the threads please don't spam your list number, if you want to keep sharing it please only post it once per thread. Just because you've posted your list doesn't mean someone will purchase you a gift. It's random how Anon's will choose who to buy for. But please take a look through some of the lists and see if there's anyone/thing you want to gift.
The pastebins will be updated at least once a day, if you have any questions or concerns you can email Elusive at elusive@techie.com
Amazon changed how their lists work so please post letting us know when you buy gifts for someone.

Thanks for the well wishes people. Shit hit the fan this end. Not pictured are the other 2 canulas in my left arm. Won't lie, it's been very difficult post surgery. Went to do the angel tree at my local mall today, only to find out that it ended yesterday. What kind of angel tree ends on December 8? So instead I bought some books for Barnes and Noble's holiday drive. Mostly novels, but I also opted to get Gotham Academy volume 1. Hope whatever kid gets it enjoys it. Such a fun series. Also, reminding again: It's time for the return of Tajador's Christmas /co/ral contest. The rules are simple: Record yourself performing (singing and/or playing an instrument) a Christmas carol. Can be whatever you like. Upload it to vocaroo or Youtube or wherever, and send the link to secretsantajador@gmail.com along with your wishlist link and one winner will be selected to win a gift from their list. The songs will also be shared with /co/. Some important notes: 1. If you remember from previous years, I can be a bit arbitrary with how I choose winners. So, while effort is appreciated, I do not recommend spending hours and hours on this because the stakes are not high. 2. Be as innovative as you like. You can do a contemporary song, classic hymn, parody, or whatever you like. Entries due by 7 PM Eastern time on Sunday. If you have any questions, let me know. There hasn't been a ton of interest so far, so if this flounders I might have a different holiday contest in mind.

Hey I gotta ask here. I wanna get my younger sister a graphic novel, but she has an extreme aversion to anything Marvel/DC. I need to get her something fairly intelligent or artistic, something a 20 year old would like. I was thinking of getting her Paper Girls. But I know she would hate something as shallow as Saga, is Paper Girls anything like that or is it a lot better? Otherwise can anyone recommend some graphic novels that aren't super dark, aren't brainless cutesy shit, and aren't bad YA fare like Saga? I also got her My Lesbian Experience With Loneliness which I heard very good things about and seems like the exact kind of thing she would like.

And the hardest part was definitely the last one, which I didn't actually figure out properly. I thought I had figured it out by having the second number in each pair represent the song's place in the list while the first number was the letter's place in the song, but that didn't produce anything useful. So I tried some names of people who could be friends with Riddler, obviously no success, and then I realised that my (faulty) method always came back to Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer so I decided to try phrases relating to that until something worked.

Well, Good evening, Mr /co/
I think it's time for a prize round cryptoquiz
The rules are simple. These are replacement puzzles that are concealing a Christmas quote/reference/lyric. The letters/ciphers in the crypto stand in for another letter. But in code-breaking, there are always tricks. Because of this, some of these puzzles are very difficult. Though I try to build all of them to break down with one or two good assumptions. Hey guys, anyone have something upbeat and festive? I'm in a dour mood tonight, been having off and on depressive feelings for about two weeks now. Most of it I think attributed to just not having seen my family, friends, or gf for months now since I moved for work. I get to see them all here in two weeks, but it's getting harder to deal with the emotions, you know? Trying not to burden my gf with these feelings as well, she has enough crap to deal with as it is. On the plus side of it, I know I'll be more than willing to use this to write. I always become more impassioned with my art when emotions are influx, so hopefully I can put it to good use.

Khantest of Champions
Good people of /co/, it is my pleasure to announce this year's Kamala Khantest, the most festive way of spreading holiday joy using everyone's favorite legacy character with poorly defined shapeshifting powers from New Jersey. The rules are simple: craft your favorite media masterpiece of Kamala enjoying the holidays in any way that you desire. Heroic short story? Awesome. Sweet scribble of Kamala caroling? Adorable. NSFW holiday pic? Also cool, but maybe post it on /aco/ and link it here so you don't get banned. On the evening of the 17th (EST) I'll arbitrarily choose no fewer than 2 winners to receive a reasonably priced item from their list, because I'm not made of money but want to make something liven up the threads. Also, for accountability's sake, my list is 2MOV0MGY5304H so you know I won't bail like last year's spokesman

So I'm in a strange mix of moods right now and feel like venting because you all seem like pretty empathetic people. I'm graduating with a masters degree and I'm genuinely really happy about that; I have some editing left to do but yeah, it's really the epilogue, not even the home stretch. On the other hand, my grandmother died last night. I got to see her a couple times "on the way out", and I've had a good relationship with her and the only thing that really feels "unfinished" in any meaningful sense is actually the previous paragraph; she was big on education and had repeatedly expressed a desire to attend my graduation. The frustrating thing is that she would have gotten a chance to do so if my advisor had managed to convey to me about how long my thesis was supposed to take; the school offers 2 semesters (1 year) of "thesis" classes, and I had just assumed that's how long we'd work on it, but he had planned 3 semesters from the get-go and that's what ended up happening. I don't even really know, this is all in the past and done and not worth hanging on to, but I just can't let that go. In short, the thing I "should be" happy about is pissing me off, and the thing I "should be" sad about I've accepted, and I don't expect you all to solve that and frankly I feel kind of silly taking this to you and bringing you down this close to Christmas, but there it is. Thanks for reading my rant.

But I understand your frustrations and other emotions. I too lost a grandmother this year, and while the circumstances weren't quite the same it's still the loss of a family member. It hurts.

Sup guys! A few threads ago I said that I wanted to try my hand at creating a crosswords competition, so here we go: The /co/ Christmas Crossword Competition! Fully (and correctly) solve the crossword in the picture and send it to crosswordsco@outlook.com along with your wishlist code, whoever manages to do it first will receive a reasonably priced prize. Since this is the first time I’m doing this it’s very much a test run and there will presumably be some hiccups along the way, but hints will be presented as we go, and feedback will be taken into consideration for possible future iterations. Best of luck to you all!

Fucking 4chan thinks the full link is spam Sorry for posting it again, I figured it was missed by whoever's in charge of the pastebin since it ain't there
Anyway, on to more important things. What's everyone doing for Christmas? My family was gonna head up to my grandparents, but for the last few years we had to delay that because at least one person always gets sick and my grandma has COPD, so we cancel it rather than take the risk. We'll probably end up going there after a bit, so Christmas in January is probably gonna happen. Otherwise we're gonna all head up there and have a nice dinner and exchange presents.
