>>97048344>secondThe entire (and only) point I was making regarding that is that it was forced. She treated him like dirt, like he's a liability the few episodes prior to the whole guardian bullshit, and all of a sudden the change of heart, it felt like it was shoehorned in for the sake of the plot, to give a reason for marco to be there at all. And of course, people started pinning the blame on marco being a huge pussy, which is entirely true, but it stems entirely out of pure bad writing. And starco is still ruined for me.
>thirdHe's done nothing explicitly bad, but he told pony head how he was gonna fuck his life up by sucking his personality out of him, in the hopes that the gossip queen would let star know about it. Doesn't sound suspicious to you? In the party he was shown to be uncaring with anything but himself. He was only at the party to hang out with star. He wanted to stay out of politics because it doesn't concern him directly. On the other hand we have marco doing everything to help out star like the pussybitch he now is.
>fourthThe entire time marco was calling star his best friend, and now that marco realizes how star actually feels about him and wants to take things to another level she rubs it in his face about it. When he tries to get over it and move on he's pulled back in to the status quo, and has to endure the shit star's had to go through. The writers want marco to openly admit to star, but the way they went about it, marco did nothing to deserve this punishment, star fucked up by hooking marco up, but marco rightfully chooses to sulk back to earth. Instead, he's now stuck in mewni in his own little cuckshed cleaning after princess slut, all the while trying out every single girl he meets in a desperate attempt to rebound. Reminds me of adventure time's breezy, the episode widely remembered to be the last straw that made a bunch of it's fans ragequit the show.
