Sorry read this earlier - and meant to say it was excellent and thoughtful. >>96294208>there's just not much to it.
Disagree. As one example, I've re-read the three volumes of collected edition of Morrisons New 52 Action Comics run more than anything else from the past 6 years, which is not at all what you are stating.
Now, I think Multiversity is more of a deep dive but that's more of a fact that there's certain key things I've avoided (COIE as an actual series) than anything else - also disagree on Moore, but I'll admit some of his stuff just doesn't appeal to me as topic/subject matter. And what does (say Tom Strong) isn't that deep or interesting, just popcorn entertaining on the same line as Dan Dare or Zenith (which I don't consider anything other than disposable for Morrison, for example).>>96292259
Very true. But I've never held the hard cover which is not considered the DE. The HC they did for Flash of Two Worlds with two bonus stories, OTOH, has gorgeous (non-coated) paper with brilliant whites, which is great for the restored SA colorization/art. Since Secret Identity is almost watercolor/painting, you are exactly right, the paper source would have been critical.
