One of the few good things that the governament did here was make obligatory a quota of national content on every cable channel, with the objective of developing our own creative industry. The result? Multiple channels freaking out because the content that they had to work with was so fucking small and talentless.
What CN, Disney and so were forced to do? Raise the payment for people that work with animation, and train their own staff during work. Seriosuly, the payment for a begginer to be trained in a studio on Brazil is really good, and CN let creators do anything that they want.
We are still on the first steps, I think that its mostly CN and Discovery Kids that managed to make good shows, while the others are still pretty shit....but I know about a new show that will air on Disney XD that seems quite promising. The dream of the main writter is to make a steampunk capoeira show in the same style as TT cartoon.
