- The dubbed version changed a few instances of text on signs and such, but not always. The stuff inside the play at the beginning were altered to Japanese text, like "Carrot Days Festival" changed to "???? ??" or something like that, but signs in the background after they went outside were still in English. The Zootopia police academy had its sign changed, but Cliffside stayed as it was. The most distracting change is Jumbeaux pulls out the "We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone" sign and it's in Japanese while he's pointing it out, but a minute or so later when it's in the background, it's changed back to English.
- Japanese Gideon says "DMA" instead of "DNA". The subbed edition writes out "Dinna" in katakana then puts up "D.N.A." for Travis's line.
- "Jude the Dude" is changed to "JuJu" for the dub, written as "Judy Dee" in kana in subtitles.
- Dubbed Bogo's "Let it go." is changed to "Ari no mama de." which was the translated name of Elsa's song. There was no such pun in the subtitles.
- Dubbed version has the tanuki newscaster, subtitled keeps the moose. I was almost hoping that they'd use the tanuki in both Japanese versions and give him an English voice, but that would have been a longshot.
- I don't remember the exact wording, but the line at the end is played out differently between the two versions. In the dub, he says it like the English version and Judy's response is along the lines of "Is that so? Yes, it's as you said." The subtitled version of the line definitely dropped a "daisuki" in there. No "ai" or "koi", but she escalated his "suki" in the subtitles.
