Patreon is cognizant of that fact, which is why they don't want to recklessly ban people but nevertheless some people will get banned and their livelihoods will be torn from them.
I agree there's some illustrated porn out there that is so fucking illegal it cannot be given a platform. But there ought to be a fucking approval process for access to Patreon, like a goddamn mortgage assessment. They have enough money to do that now. Make people present some stupid fucking basic application as to what they plan on making and if you fucking boot them from your service in the future you can see that they went beyond the scope of their proposition.
