>>107675057I guess the real message of Star is how the rich and privelege will only look out for themselves and fuck anyone else over at a moment's notice.
Solaria is the main reason Mina is how she is. She manipulated a poor, ignorant rag seller into the monster hating ptsd driven villain she is today. And how does Solaria respond to the bigotry she created? She has the audacity to look disappointed. Now we are to believe she's a good mom because she smiled at her daughter half-monster baby, and all is forgiven. Fuck her. The same goes for Moon.
Conveniently the writers have Heckapoo and Glossaryck be calmly okay with being killed, and apparently these two being okay with it means that everyone else must be okay with it and it's okay for Star to murder an entire population of sentient creatures.
Star and her family once again decide to fuck everyone over and use their powers to make decisions for everyone else that ends up with them having to pick up the broken pieces.
Either one of two things are going to happen. One, either Monster will continue being persecuted thanks to Star merging Earth and Magical dimensions together and war and violence breaks out. Or Two, Monsters having a slight advantage over humans since Monsters seem to keep their powers, will turn the table and become the new oppressors, causing war and chaos. Star's plan doesn't fix shit either way.
Also Marco and Star were literally ready to abandon their families and die together, and that's suppose to be seen as romantic.
I just don't get what people see in this finale.
