Gets beat at the end, realizes he can’t go home again and begins his new life as a traveling merc who forgets this ever happened.

Turn it into a running joke in later films that BW is cautious of any masked normal dude because it could be him.

It's actually the other way around. Kingpin first appeared as a Spider-Man villain but he is more well-known as Daredevil's archnemesis, so the rights went with FOX. That's why he appeared in FOX's and Netflix's Daredevil but not Spectacular Spider-Man.

They're just inferring shit because the main villain of the movie is supposed to be black (Marvel is specifically casting Africans or black Brits) and Ultimate Taskmaster is black.

WTC is not very reliable. I doubt it's Taskmaster at all. I mean, look at the top choice for the role. Doesn't strike me as if he'd play a very physical villain.

Actually, based on the cast list, I think the character they're talking about here is supposed to be the primary villain of the piece. With Yelena Belova (?????) potentially being secondary, and some other actors being the tertiary villains.

not that anon, but the MCU has a history with villains either not wearing masks or their masks being removed fairly quickly because actors like their faces being shown. In the Far from Home trailer Mysterio seems to only use his fishbowl in combat, and Zemo didn't have a mask at all.

That said, I don't give a fuck what race he is if he can do the role good. I like Tasky, but not enough to throw a fit over him being a different race than what he is in the comics. However, I'll definitely be pissed if he gets the Zemo treatment. Tasky needs to have a skeletal face.

Zemo originally was going to but they scrapped it, but since he's alive still, they're going to bring it back when he teams with Ghost and the others. Mysterio will probably get to be in the bowl a lot since all the leaked figures are of him with the bowl on

It's a fact actors prefer to avoid masks in movies so their face is visible for all to see so producers and shit can see their acting ability and facial expressions and shit.

I mean, it's not the actors who're trying to show their pretty faces off, it's the directors who make that decision. You can't sell the emotions of a scene if you're covering up all the acting that's going on.

The fact that animated productions have way fewer maskless scenes is related; they can get away with making the mask move to approximate facial expressions or with exaggerating body language in ways that you can't do in live action.

Still not really confirmed that it's Yelena outside of posts I've seen on here and speculation on news sites. The casting info still makes the other femspy out to be the "secondary lead."

The thing is that if they adapt Yelena's story properly, it's a big enough subversion of the dark mirror formula to be really interesting and good. I'm just not sure if they'll get the details right, though.

Whiplash-Lost the mask
Loki-Had his helmet on both in Thor and Avengers
Red Skull-Had his mask, er face, on
Killian-Doesn't have a mask I think
Thor 2-Malekith has no mask
Winter Soldier-Has his mask but loses it though WS is more known not having a mask
GOTG-Ronan kept his outfit the whole movie
