>>106001740I feel like that's nit-picky. I'll preface this by saying i haven't read the manga yet, but like in many other sports IRL, there are multiple ways to win with different play-styles. If the motive of the game is to either destroy your opponents or put the ball in the hole to win, there are two potential play-styles. One of them being a bigger less maneuverable bruiser vs a rollerblading speed kind of style. Some times it may be easier to just eliminate your opponents rather than putting the ball in. Also, in the intro of the game you don't know if they were playing street rules where you can't kill each other to win for obvious reasons.
The movie had other flaws that you don't have to stretch for. Stay away from my rollerball.
