>>105793370>The Darkest Spell is Eclipsa's
I'll just take your word on that, because there's been so much bullshit thrown around in the book about how "Eclipsa loves her mom so much and was just following orders :(" that I can't keep it straight, mainly because none of it is reflected in the show.>Globgor was the fucking king of monsters, chosen by his own men
Okay, sure, but if Toffee could get half a monster army to agree to kill Comet (and besides himself there seemed to be only 2 Septarians; all the rest were other species), then I don't necessarily believe that fucking one Mewman woman would convince ALL MONSTERS (and Mewmans!) EVERYWHERE that RACISM IS OVER. She was just a thirsty slut.>Because that threat was her own daughter and she had no reason to protect a kingdom where everybody hates her.
I don't find it particularly brave or inspiring when she did it very easily, had nowhere else to go anyway (even if she fucked off back to Globgor she couldn't free him without the wand), and got her daughter back anyway. I find Star's actions more impressive there because she had no clue if she'd win or not and then got the shit beaten out of her anyway and was willing to keep fighting (remember Eclipsa took the wand from her).>Meanwhile Star was willing to give Toffee her wand to save Marco in Season 1
I find this more understandable than claiming that Eclipsa killing her daughter must have been SO HARD. Heinous had 0 connection to Meteora, in appearance or action or demeanor or anything. She barely even knew Meteora anyway because she was a literal baby, and didn't seem to care much when she thought Meteora had died centuries ago.>Eclipsa could escape with ease
Yeah, but she didn't have the wand then and only "matched" Moon when dipping down during a moment of extreme emotion which was implied to be the first time she'd ever done wandless magic in her life.
