You have Kaldur becoming Aquaman and running the League, Dick becomes Nightwing, Megan is going to full-superhero level rather than just teen (and Conner still looks 16, which is just fucking creepy by now with her in what, mid-20s appearence?). Even just in season 2, you had Wonder Girl and Batgirl able to fight Lobo head-on.
Meanwhile, six years on, with all his training and skill, Conner... still gets his shit pushed in. Six fucking years? Come on. That's almost as much time as it took Batman to become Batman. It's certainly more than enough time for how many Robins to get combat skills that shit all over Superboy.
He feels like an afterthought by now. Maybe he's grown to be like a mini-Superman in attitude, but that doesn't get nearly enough focus to drag him out of the dust everybody has left him in. At this point, just dropping him entirely for a different character would probably be more useful.
