Nobody wanted really stay inside the house because everyone was upset. It makes sense he would probably be out late for things to calm down. Which gave him plenty of time to clear his head. I didn't like it specifically because it wasn't important. The nuck had no differences from the grimm they fought in the first episode of the volume, aside from having some history with RN and being tougher to kill. It wasn't acting as part of a grander plan, it didn't affect anything prior to or after the volume it existed in, and it didn't have much characterization other than "be creepy". There were some alright parts to it, but everything at the end ("for myself") was just terrible.

You mean the weight that went away when RT decided to throw in a random "lol don't look at my panties Ren xD" removing all tension? The build up for the scene was great. But the pantie shot should have been removed. I would have let the Nuck's horse head be able to breathe toxic fumes, which the legends say it can in order to cause crops to wither. For some reason RT decided that only one part of the Nuck can make and fight at a time, either the horse body or the humanoid body. I would have removed this weakness. Sounds like an excuse just to make it easier for the team to animate it. That thing was at least several decades old, but was stopped by former students. All it took was Ren's small knife to slice through it like warm butter.

I feel like they're setting Ruby up to get fucked, she's been the holding point for everyone this volume and just when it looks like they're finally holding it down, they rip Ruby away through some bullshit sending everyone spiraling, I wonder how it'll go, will it be a volume cliff hanger? So in my fanfiction I want to focus on the implications of a Remnant with a drastically reduced Grimm population. Thanks to RWBY, Salem was defeated and now Grimm only reside in any great number on the dragon continent, although some small herds and special monsters exist elsewhere in areas of great negativity like old battlefields and such.

Thanks to the reduced Grimm threat, the kingdoms are able to rapidly expand outward, setting up more farms, plantations and mines, attracting settlers from the overcrowded cities.
This leads to a population boom thanks to the falling price of goods like food and accommodations as well as propaganda campaigns promoted the kingdoms themselves as they recognize that whoever can grow their population the fastest will have the biggest advantage over the other kingdoms.

The rapid expansion eventually leads to border disputes between settlers from different kingdoms that quickly get their governments involved. The tensions only seem to grow and grow, eventually leading to a 4-way arms race as the influx of new resources, industries, and manpower allows for the creation of large armies.

Eventually, a flashpoint igniting leads to a great 4-way war between the kingdoms that threatens to plunge Remnant into darkness yet again as the Grimm resurge due to all the negative energy it generates and the kingdoms begin to tear each-other apart.

As the hero's of Remnant, team RWBY is in a unique position to act as mediators to stop the conflict. They've face worse odds before, but keeping the peace is not something you can do with just a fancy scythe and youthful vigor. Can our hero's avert an international crisis or will the lights go out all across Remnant for good?

The first volume can be watched like a movie in one sitting. It’s not that long. In fact if I remember right they made a super cut of it and released that in theaters as a volume 1 movie. So it won’t take you long to try it.

Honestly the first volume is the worst in terms of animation quality, at least nominally speaking. It can be distracting a lot. Often times it can be cringey with very forced jokes and awkward lines. But the fight scenes are well animated for the first 3 volumes. I wouldn’t say that should be the reason for you to watch, because then you’ll be disappointed once you get out of Monty-era.

The music is nice. The story is cool for the most part. It not some groundbreaking masterpiece. Something just to watch for fun like DBZ or some shit like that. Don’t take it too seriously, and just learn to have fun with the show.

I unironically ship Tauradonna and hope it happens. Adam has a ton of potential as a character and can absolutely be redeemed. Sure he cut so-and-so's arm off but a character redemption arc is still very usable option and would add a lot of emotion to the story.

Or he could just fuck Kali instead. Which I'd totally be fine with.

To be fair, some of these trainees in the series had some major people who instructed them. that or they were just really gifted. Weiss was taught combat by her sister who is literally a top dog in the world's biggest military force. Blake was part of an organization that taught her to fight as she would steal and fight Atlus tech and people. Ruby was taught by Qrow who is considered one of the best huntsmen in the world. Yang had partial training from her dad who was part of an elite team back in the day. Pyrrah was considered a prodigy and had the skills and intelligence to possibly become a top huntress if she hadn't been killed. Jaune got training from Pyrrah and self motivated himself to become stronger after her death. Ren and Nora seem to be mostly self taught but they are pretty strong themselves. You heard what Qrow said about them. "These kids are WAAY better than we were back in the day". So obviously they got the skills to pay the bills unlike most people out there.

I’m sure they’ve talked to Microsoft or consulted a legal team before making merch. If microsoft was gonna shoot them down they would’ve done it a long time ago. It may be a situation where Microsoft let them do it or it may be that RvB is considered so far detatched from the original work that RT is allowed to sell merch related to it without incurring legal issues. Or it could be Microsoft hasn’t noticed or doesn’t care.

1)She has invincibility from harm, which is more or less sort of the function of aura anyway

3) its absolute bullshit OP for the sake of bullshitting a reason this huntress we've never heard of before getting taken out because the plot demands it

This makes perfect sense for them, they want FPS:lock to attract the same audience as RWBY so while the RWBY fans are waiting eagerly for the finale they can give it a watch. As opposed to airing it after the finale where most people will probably switch off after it's over. Gen:Lock is the unproven undercard while RWBY is the main event.
