I reckon 24 eps for a season is too much. Cut the needless filler, streamline shit, and you can pack the good parts of the story into half that amount.
The main reason Bionicle's story got so long to begin with is that it had to correlate to the release of toy waves every 6 months or so.

There a series on Netflix, but I couldn't make it past the second episode. It seemed like it was made for a much younger audience than the original toy line and associated media were.

I used to play with these so much as a kid. Recently found them again in some box while cleaning the attic. I just can't get rid of them for it would break my heart. So yeah I would watch it if the animation is good and the story well written.

You didn't miss out on much, the reboot's story was heavily dumbed down and sanitized, and the show was canceled mid-production, so the last two episodes are an absurd mess.
