Is new ducktales any good? I’ve only heard mixed reviews from a few friends. The style looks ok from clips I’ve seen but still has that sterilized “flash” feel to it so I’m hesitant to try it

Not who you’re replying to, and no offense meant against you or your post personally, but I’ve seen a few too many “just look it up yourself” replies all over the place today, and I’m starting to get really sick of them. Sometimes people are asking a question because they want to generate a little discussion and get some opinions from the people they’re asking, not because they just want to know the objective answer google would tell them. There’s still a time and a place to direct people to look up shit themselves but damn, I’m starting to miss the days when people could just talk about shit with eachother.

Again, this isn’t directed at you personally. Suggesting somebody watch a thing and form their own opinion can often be a pretty valid suggestion, I’m just pissy and sick of similar situations and this was when it got to me.

But you are correct in that they’re probably the ones keeping everything working. Donald’s a bit of a forgetful Klutz and prone to rather destructive temper tantrums, Jose is a professional bum and proud of it, and as for Panchito, he seems a little bit too ditzy and spaced out at times to be well versed in the ways of Hearth and home.

I was under the impression Xandra had them keep the magical stuff when they stopped the yard sale. Then again with candles they have light and the mirror and their cellphones(paid by Daisy) cover their major priorities. Ari probably lucked out into basic cable being a handyman or stealing it from a neighbor. Now that I think of it we never saw where everyone sleeps and the nieces never seem to leave the cabana.

I think after the first few adventures their combined moral compasses started to lead them rather than riches. If not that Panchito and Jose seemed driven by fun and Donald was unwilling to leave his newfound friends putting Daisy on hold several times.
