As much as I do enjoy Big City Greens (despite /co/'s BS butthurt over it and whatnot...), GF had much more of a draw to it, in terms of storytelling and world-building in such an otherwise small setting. And in general, THAT is what people have more of an attraction to, as it shows that cartoons can be more than (slapstick) comedy. Something I'm always happy to see, myself.
Big City Greens (Again, while I do enjoy the show for what it is, not what it isn't trying to be, myself.) just plain lacks that draw that GF has - which is why so many people are looking forward to Amphibia and definitely Owl House hopefully filling that void GF left in terms of plot and lore (that Star Vs. failed to outright fill as well, at least IMHO.), including myself.
