Yes I liked it, brought the whole volcano origin story full circle as it did with the cast's lose ends.
The parents integrated nicely into the world of Hey Arnold, by being silly and clingy and Arnold telling them to do their own thing and such.
Really doesn't need a new season or reboot, maybe an entirely new show with inspiration from Hey Arnold, but that's it.

I made the smart decision to rewatch the whole series before watching it. It was one of those experiences where you lay down in bed and can't get to sleep because you can't stop thinking about how much you enjoyed it. If I had any complaints it would be that everyone turned on Arnold really harshly when he didn't mean for anything to go wrong. I also didn't like how Oskar and Suzie broke up during the timeskip. It sorta invalidates a lot of the development he got in the original show. Otherwise I loved it. I don't want another season though because all the loose ends got tied up in the most satisfying way possible.

I didn't really watch the show as a kid, so I spent the couple of weeks before the movie's release watching through it for the first time. Pretty great show, I wish I hadn't skipped out on it as a kid. I'd honestly put in in my top 5 Nicktoons.
I thought the movie was great and a good send off for the series, but at the same time it sort of felt odd, like a fever dream due to how tonally different it was compared to the show, but I guess that's the case with most movies of tv shows.
I'd rather not have another season, I think 5 seasons and 2 movies is good enough

Pulling the Lion Turtle shit out their ass to still leaves a sour taste in my mouth. It was the biggest fucking cop out and ruined the ending for me

Rushed as all fuck. There was no build up. The finale just happened and it all fell flat

I can get that, but Lion Turtle was foreshadowed earlier in the story. They didn't just pull it out of their ass last minute. There is also a bunch of other things to like in the finale that isn't the Lion Turtle stuff.

Well you have to remember the show is a kid's show. It ending with Aang murdering the shit out of the Fire Lord wouldn't have flown so they did Lion Turtle stuff instead. Dismissing the entire finale on just that seems like a huge overreaction.

It was the most satisfying finale ever and I couldn't have asked for anything else. I don't think there's anything worth continuing though, and besides, I don't want a mediocre reboot to ruin the show for me.

I understand it's a kids show but they could have had a better way on dealing with it. I love Avatar. It's in my top 5 favorite cartoons of all time but I just feel like the Lion Turtle giving Aang the power to take away bending was a messily done cop out. They could have killed The Firelord in a creative way. Like for example, out of desperation, the Firelord blows himself up in an attempt to kill Aang but Aang survives. The Firelord is dead and Aang is victorious.

The ending ruined it. I feel like they rushed and simplified the reunion with his parents. It could have been a real feels moment with him sobbing uncontrollably and them taking a bit to make out that its their son.

Because he recognized that Helga genuinely cared about him and she was the one who was able to help him finally be reunited with his parents. Helga's bullying was wrong, but not uncommon for a child, especially one like Helga who faced so much neglect growing up.
