It's interesting how bunnysuits, despite being no more revealing or body hugging than many bathing suits or leotards, is considered far more sexual than them simply due to the Playboy association. You won't hear many people complaining if they see young girls at the beach in what amounts to a bikini, nor will they really complain if they see a young gymnast or ballerina in a body-hugging leotard, but you'd be considered a pedo if you even suggest that it be okay for a younger woman to wear a bunnysuit.
And I get it, I'm not ignorant to why it's that way. It's a societal association, one that I'm not innocent of either- I love me some bunny girls- but it's just interesting that such clothing is turned into a sexual uniform purely out of association with a sexual enterprise while other equally or more revealing clothing can be seen as totally innocent. A bunnysuit can be cute! It doesn't HAVE to be sexual. But we just sort of naturally perceive it as such due to an almost 80-year relation to Playboy.
It makes me wonder if you could do the same with, say... Baseball caps. Like a genre of porn centered around ball caps explodes into immense popularity and ends up on everyone's computer because it just touches a weird nerve that gets them hot and bothered. It becomes a global sensation, the news even covers it, everyone is abuzz about ball cap porn. Would that then make ball caps inappropriate for kids- or anyone- to wear?
