If you're in a story that includes Thought Robot then you've already lost. He's not "good triumphing over evil", he's the incarnation of protagonism. He wins because the protagonist is defined by winning - if they don't win, they weren't the protagonist.
The only entities that can defeat Thought Robot are beings from anarrative space, i.e 3D humans from our world. We're not part of a story, and there can be no protagonist. Maybe you could argue that entropy is the protagonist of our universe?
