I wish that they focused on making Lois Lane seem like an actual reporter, rather than just being the girl who follows Superman around and writes about how awesome he is.
Like, if they did more stories with her being a watchdog investigative reporter holding power to account, taking on corruption, exposing social injustices, etc. It would make more sense that Superman loves her so much. He looks at her and sees a hero, somebody who isn't afraid of risking her safety DESPITE not being invulnerable.
When all they do is have her report on the latest Superman/villain slugfest, she just comes off as a fangirl, and not a real reporter. Especially when she isn't disclosing in her articles that she's kinda fucking the guy she's writing about.
