>>102417547>ready for tomorrow?I am. The last few minutes of the last episode were kino. Or more seriously, genuinely great and emotional moments. David Tennant's "I am" and acting in that scene in general was iconic, everything about it was just fantastic. I'v been wavering about nuDucktales at best and at worst severely disappointed, but last episode, it suddenly came into its own.
I am also excited to see Magica in the flesh, not gonna lie. Catherine Tate has a lot of fun with her, she's hammy in the right way. I'm really looking forward to her and Scrooge's scene. Even Webby who people complain about, it was interesting to see her get kicked down when Scrooge yelled at her that she wasn't family, and now she's going to get betrayed when she's already at a low point. Should be interesting.
I think the Don Cheadle thing could be funny. The old shorts had Donald get a normal "suave" deep voice a few times, so this is a very old plot devide for Donald. And Donald delivered a lot of dramatic speeches in the comics to get people amped up that do sound a bit silly with his voice, which didn't come across in the comics, so this is a roundbout way of replicating those dramatic comic speeches. Also it's just temporary.
But most of all, I hope Best Boy Donald does something heroic. And Scrooge, too. I think that they will. I think you'll see them step it up with these characters. Should be good.
