"You know, Finn, you never told me exactly why you wanted to become a 'professional' hero", she muses one day, as the two soak away the day's aches in her sacred spring.
"Huh?" He says, jolted out of his doze. "Well, I mean, I want to be a hero forever, so I figured I might as well do it right? I know Billy gave it up, but I don't think I could ever get tired of this."
He smiles at her, heedless of their naked bodies, and she flushes. The boy's words are so easy to misconstrue. Another thing she'll have to teach him. The corner of her lip quirks up with sudden, wicked amusement. Perhaps...
"Plus", Finn interrupts the giant's new, intriguing train of thought with his usual grace. "Jake's being a dad, FP's running a country, and PB was always saying I needed to grow up. Even Ice King and Marcie are working out their whole weird adopted parent deal. I guess... I felt like I needed to be more mature, you know? More of a man."
Emerald eyes rake down a torso glistening with moisture, defined slabs of freshly chiseled muscle only partly obscured by the holy waters of her spring, a golden mane heavy with wetness clinging to a back broad enough to bear mountains.
"Hm-hm", the giantess hums, tongue flicking out to wet blue lips that suddenly feel so dry. "I wouldn't worry about that, Finn." Something else he'd said curls up in her gut, ugly and warm, and she drifts forward to tower over her pupil. His eyes widen, and she's certain they flick down below her face, just once. He's so admirably chivalrous. So cute. "And I wouldn't worry about what some little girl thinks of you. I promise, once you're done with my training..."
She leans down, face level with his own, a boy's softness finally giving way to the hard, sculpted features of a man, and his breath quickens in a way that makes sparks fly in the back of her brain.
"...you'll have all the /woman/ you can handle."
