>>101767614- Both have shoddy comics and saying one is better than the other is splitting hairs with an atomic knife.
- Animated Movies... I mean I guess, how was this even a factor worth weighing by itself apart from the animation department before the need to come DC to the MCU? But I'm pretty sure the Teen Titans Go movie summarily dashes any street cred DC had in this department anyway so...
- Animated Shows... They did have better animated shows no joke, now you have the Teen Titans Go
- Mature Women... In that they have Wonder Woman? What other mature female character does anyone honestly give a shit about?
- (No mention of live action TV) Top kek.
Since when was this dick measuring so important to DC fans and why didn't it seemingly exist before the MCU? Isn't this just sour grapes because you know the true prime factor in determining a brand's popularity and acceptance in pop culture is cinema and TV? Just as Donner's Superman, Burton's Batman and Nolan's Batman reaffirmed the characters as pop culture icons for new and existing generations so has the MCU for an entire brand while Batman and Superman being crammed together in the same movie struggles to match the competition. Like it or not, deserved or not, the MCU is literally creating the Marvel brand for the most of the masses making C and D listers household names and giving an entire brand the attention that was once only reserved for Supes and Bats.
Spin it however you want there's no getting around the MCU's success and DCEU's failure while both brand's comics and other related media slowly atrophy.
