Fuck I'm actually liking this, the dialogue still has some aeful Bendisms but it's tolerable.

>>100950439Not really, they have yet to do anything as awful as facial bros. That said I can see Bendis pushing a close friendship between the two but not making it work. He said he liked writing Green Lantern and that he was going to incorporate Hal more and it looks like he'll ignore whatever happens in Hal's own book (isn't Hal suppose to be in space?).
It also strikes me odd that Clark has problems that affect him emotionally and Bruce is not there trying to help him. Bruce is emotionally fucked up but he cares deeply for Clark's mental health partially because he is his friend and partially because it's in Earth's best interest for Superman to be fine.
Seeing that this ended with the Joker causing problems we'll probably see a Batman and Superman talk in the next issue.
